The WS-6509-EXL-FWM-K9 Cisco Catalyst 6509-E Firewall System Bundle includes a Supervisor Engine 720-3BXL and a Firewall Services Module (FWSM), and Catalyst 6509 Fan. The bundle can be configured with up to four FWSMs to deliver 20 Gbps of performance. The FWSM for Cisco Catalyst 6509-E Switch is a high-performance, integrated stateful inspection firewall with application and protocol inspection engines, providing 5.5 Gbps of throughput; 100,000 connections per second; and one million concurrent connections.
